I have both, the gameplay is pretty bland but the storyline and simdate gameplay can be fun. (I bothered to get both the regular and Zero in limited edition)

Luckily they had an easy mode so I can breeze through the game and just pay more attention to the story and try different um..."mates."

They changed some parts of the anime from the manga.. and the manga goes a lot farther then the anime I believe.
