can't resurrect yourself. Someone has to resurrect you, and the 2nd not really the most lovable guy

yes, he didnt taught it to anyone but there are many ppl who know about it...logic...

anyway, i cant understand, if you are able to create real clones/androids why not make one that will ressurect you =)

he declared it a forbidden jutsu for a reason..his views of resurrection were pretty obvious..and if he used it, he would set a bad example for others..

also, what's the point of resurrecting himself? he entrusted his life to the newer generation for a reason.. he wanted to die an honorable death, otherwise he would've allowed sarutobi to sacrifice himself.

This. The Japanese have always been about their honor and whatnot, and warriors of that culture prefer to die honorable deaths. That's why edo tensei is so bad to begin with and that's partially why Madara is such a scumbag--he couldn't find honor in death.

Most people that are good die honorable deaths in this show. Asuma, Neji, Kimimaro, Itachi, Jiraiya...all went down in a blaze.

not really. When u are alive, you can save more people than you are dead...

of course not... That's why the jutsu died with him, until orochi re-discovered/uncovered it. It has never been required to learn a jutsu to know about it O.o It's just rumors/myths/watching it casted.

Did the 2nd actually ever use it? I know it's originally his jutsu, but did it say if he actually used it?



Also, remember that it requires a sacrifice to do the jutsu, so most likely clones and stuff dont work due to lack of an independent soul or some shit like that

I feel like, legitimately, this has been forgotten.. so I am going to bring it back because I got bored and reread this and burst out laughing.. not to mention if they keep this in the anime I will shit myself
