Aside from catering to fans' desires, I'm not sure that a reunion between Madara and Hashirama has any merit to the story. It would be awesome, don't get me wrong, but I thought about it and I don't think it would really fit. It seems like it would take Orochimaru way out of his way to bring Hashirama to the battlefield, and he has no interest in the war anyway. Besides, what would a meeting between those 2 actually do for the story anyway? Madara and Hashirama had their final encounter at the Valley of the End, resulting in Madara's defeat. The show has a clear theme of passing down power, legacy, and burdens to the younger generation, and Madara is now Naruto's burden. I'd imagine Hashirama would even say that, too. So as cool as their reunion would be, I don't know that it will happen. This is all assuming of course that the Hokages really aren't going to play much of a role beyond this rendezvous. It would be interesting if they did.

HOWEVER, what they should really show us is the battle between Madara/Hashirama. Wishful thinking here but maybe that battle is actually significant to what Hashirama is about to tell Sasuke and we get flashbacks of it.

Oh, and did anyone besides me remember that other little detail about the edo tensei? Can the second hokage free himself of its control?

i think what will happen is, hirashima will feel that madaraa is still up and going somehow, sauske will ask him a question and he will say go ask him yourself. the kages and sauske + oroshimaru will go there, sauske will have all the info he needs between the two of them. i think it fits rather well. also i dont think they can free themselves . remember the dagger orochimaru put in them to control them better. Also how in the hell did he summon the 4th lol? ya he was sealed in the dude but doesnt he still need his dna to revive him?

He had plenty of opportunities to get the fourth's DNA. I'm not sure that Hashirama and Madara are going to clash there. Hashirama was hailed to be the only one strong enough to defeat Madara but I'm not so sure he can now. Madara has all of his power and the Rinnegan this time around, so a fight between those 2 would probably just undermine Hashirama. Not sure Kishi wants to do that. Who knows, though. Orochimaru could head to the battlefield and summon the 4 of them there to fight. We can't forget that Madara is EVERYONE's enemy. Orochimaru and Sasuke have their own plans that will also be fucked up if Madara succeeds. I think it's possible that Naruto and Sasuke will unite, but only defeat a common enemy. I still think that their fight is going to be the last and most important of the series.

What's Sasuke and orochis plan

we don't know yet, but I'm sure it's not the same plan as madara and tobi
