How about instead of Tobi being yet ANOTHER Uchiha, what about an evil Senju? Somehow, the Uchiha clan managed to stay whole in Konoha before they were slaughtered, yet in the same amount of time, generations of Senju have merged with the rest of the Leaf village? Even to the point where no one has taken the name Senju? I think THAT would be interesting to see. Tobi's only really unique ability is his version of Kamui, which just gets gimmicky and annoying after a while. Imagine what could have been if Kishimoto decided to develop someone from the Senju clan and make him that strong with a completely new set of skills that come from the Senju genes. That would have been a crapload more interesting than yet another sharingan-wielding, "the world is full of darkness," bleek, emo, uninteresting Uchiha character. Kishimoto has a serious boner for that clan. At least with Tobi being Obito he revealed that the Uchiha are an inherently evil clan from which no good will come as a whole.

And Tobi's turn from good to evil...my god.

That was basically as useful as the actual panels. Madara did nothing but blabber on about the same goddamned thing that every other goddamned villain blabbers on about in this story right before Naruto TnJ's them or they die. Would have been way more entertaining if it was a villain that came out of the blue.

tl;dr - Obito still sucks and will continue to suck always. We haven't even gotten to the whole Kakashi stabbed Rin situation...Apparently, they were out on a mission alone, and Kakashi decided to turn and stab her and everything's just fine and dandy. Mission accomplished

kakashi sends a chidori right through his chest.. a flash back to kakashi killing rin flashes before obito.. as he whispers... "why"
