Finally finished!!
For some reason I hoped for yagami light to not die
But author did well keeping me on the edge of my seat..
Great anime and glad I watched it

Well the best part about it is that the person who is generally considered the bad guy is the main character, so you have no idea how it will end. It also makes you think about your definition of justice and who you actually want to win throughout the whole series. I just sat on my bed silently for 10 minutes once I finished lol

Haha yea I agree
The "winner" kept going back and forth and I had no clue how it would end but I did sort of guessed that yagami light would lose..only cause I think his way of justice is wrong
By the end of the episodes I started to think the original L would come back or something and reveal he planned everything from the beginning ( mello and near)
L was a great char

Oh and I watched 1 Ep of the eng dubbed version
And their voice is soo bad.. They sound stupid but hearing the Japanese version they sound alot more smarter

I watched it subbed so idk how they sound on the dub. But yeah a lot of people get upset about L's death, but I don't mind it. Mello is a fine character imo and if it wasn't for L, they wouldn't have caught Kira. L is a great character, one of my favorites on TV I'd say. They both treated it like a game, and L died, but he still won.

Couldn't u distinguish the difference of mood/tone between the both versions ? Idk but L and lights personality seemed to differ when I watched the eng version... Just the way they talked

One of the best things about DN is the connections between their friendship and their game. All the other subtle connections are great too. Subtle yet noticeable
