Ithink it won't happen til after the espada arc. If Ken pulls out Bankai, it means he's close to death. It would be pretty interesting if his bankai was like an auto over-kill move that takes his life with it.

i agree with all that.......but do u think  it will happen or is the writer too chicken to actually do it?

Kenpachi is a foil to ichigo, his rival, whats nice about bleach is that there r a  lot of chars that fill this role. Grimmjowe, ishida, others.

I think kenpachi keeps an eye on ichi cuz he feels hes a kindred spirit to him.

I dont think he wants to kill him, i think the guy just wants to have a beer with him and hang out.

Im hoping that if ken cant speak to his sword on his own, why not ask ichigo to show him?

i know that kinda goes against what he stands for, but i think ichigo really could help him.

theyre going to b spending a lot of time together now, so mebbe ichi can get over his terror of kenpachi and say, "hey guy, u really need to learn this,"

And i think kenpachi really likes ichigo, why else is he always there to save him?

Personally, this was the time for him to use his sword, i think the writer chickened out and came up with something lame instead.

but hey, u never know, kenpachi could get owned by aizen and use bankai....

yeah right.

Im asking u flora, Do YOU think it will happen? yes or no......

If he does know the swords name he will wait until its absolutely necessary, because thats the kind of guy ken-kun is.

Ichigo keeps growing stronger, because hes on a never ending incline of power.

Kanichi has been at this for a long time, for him to grow stronger.. something needed to happen.

when ichigo learned bankai he was stronger in general. in bankai or not.

So I think that ken has learned it, and is holding out.
