also, we understand what has happened to the 10 tails, but how did it come to existence in the first place?.
again killing it isnt permanent it would just reincarnate(if the kyuubi who is a part of it could reincarnate so could he) splitting it in 9 made it more manageable for beings weaker than himself had he killed it and died later, he himself would prolly need to be reincarnated to deal with it.
where is it stated he died earlier than expected due to sealing the 10tails inside himself

TnJ is a general term in reference to one char using dialog to another char to change them, i.e naruto x nagato , naruto x gara etc..
hrm with those 2 examples naruto already defeated the other and could have easily killed them
