Rayleigh said there are people that spend their whole lives trying to draw out their power of haki but never succeed. I'm just saying that BB was one of these. And i believe only knowledge of haki is needed to gauge haki which is quite understandable. I mean if you know about the power you are getting hit by then you should be able to measure it as well.

I personally don't know about the scar. Imo it was done by a weapon. which he may carry still that we haven't seen yet or may not. As it was done a long time ago.

come on, even average kuja warriors are able to use haki and blackbeard failed?

and the patter w/ 3 i may admit the scar and the flag but the teeth is seeing what you want to see.. =P and just looking for a pattern ( oh and this isn't just a baseless claim. sometimes he has 5 or 6 teeth missing. and sometimes he has fullset.. which it really doesn't matter.. 3 missing teeth doesn't add anything to a cerebrus theory.)

and both of the gorgon sisters couldn't gauge his haki level till that explosion moment but blackbeard did.

I personally don't see a problem w/this. BB has been around haki longer than the gorgon sisters. I also believe that it is measured when one is displaying a strong will. By the time Luffy displayed a strong will against the gorgon sisters it was already released in the form of the CoC . But arguing about this isn't going to go anywhere. as I'm going to stand by my hypothesis until Oda proves it wrong =P .

I think Shank's scars was done by Blackbeard's teeths.
