almost all animes share that aspect of fights... someone overpowers another so much that they can't do anything else... i don't need to know specific details of the fight...reading you guys' discussion of it i can pretty much create a visual map of what happens.. as soon as you guys talk about one guy overpowering another, and then they get overpowered again, i can make an argument for your disappointment because 99% of the action animes out there does that.
