getting your dna doesnt grant you knowledge of what happened. Its like being cloned. SO he shouldnt know about the plan at all

madara was worked on as clearly stated by kabuto so what was done is clearly different than others.

i do believe that you get rez at the time your dna was taken. i do know a drop of blood and they can guess your age within a few years (thats currently who knows what the feature will hold) either way it could also be when you died. its just speculation as of now

madara was the only one who kabuto has mentioned he worked on and i do believe both the 1st and second died at a young age. deidara itachi negato asuma kazu all those who we actually knew of before this edo seemed to have been rezzed with their body at the same age they died.

I believe edo tensei was described as bringing a person back at the point of their death, which is why Kakuzu looked all funky as if he had just got done fighting Naruto.
