This guy gets it man. How Obito AND Kakashi went from 2 tomoes to mangekyo is pretty insignificant. Think of the present. They both have it fully unlocked and ready to go. I personally only wanted confirmation that Kakashi got it from Rin's death. So what if Obito I think it's an issue that's being too far read into. Senju dna didn't have anything to do with that because Kakashi got his simultaneously. It's nothing more than a simple plot device, and it's anime. Naruto traditionally explains everything that goes on, but the war arc shows us that clearly it's not that important anymore. Oh well. Mountains out of mole hills people.

I'm wondering how Obito just seemed to forget that Kakashi was the one who drove his arm through her torso. He didn't even make an attempt to look at Kakashi after he awakened the Mangekyo.

Hrm pretty sure it went from 2 tomoe to 3 tomoe then to MS no clue if senju had anything to do with that where as obitos frame of mind did. he was going out their to save both of them and he saw one of them piercing the other... i do believe that is the way or one of the ways for the MS to be activated.

We dont know what that suit on obito is capable of because from what weve seen from the grown obito it doesnt compare. he's not using any of the wood jutsu (this may not be true but i wont check to confirm atm) vs 4 crazy strong characters but ofc a few more chapters will confirm if he can use it without the suit.

going to go with another pretty sure kakashi fell out because he's non uchiha and it was his first time experiencing a tomoe growth as well as a MS one where as obito is a uchiha so their is no real way at this time to tell if it was one side or the other or both them working in tandem.

obito has some freaking explaining to do he faced the 4th in what seemed like a piss poor attempt he also let a lot of konoha forces live. so i am going with kabuto on this where he told madara obito might not be with the plan. my guess is obito knows the truth (maybe even itachi and they worked out a plan together) and was actually trying to hinder madara but madara being the reason for obitos body has some failsafe in place. obito didnt kill konoha forces when he clearly could have(when sasuke and itachi fought he should have taken the kyuubi then and taken out all of konoha present). he didnt monitor negato at all have the black zetsu or himself on hand to prevent that silly resurrection. he knew madara was resurrected and tried to do an incomplete 10th summoning claiming it makes no difference outside of chakra i assume but this is a bit silly seeing as how once the 10th is summoned he can easily overpower anyone anything and take back his "own". anywho eitherway kishi is on the right path! this is a great read
