I'm gonna be honest, I hate the idea of it being white Zetsu clones, simply because I've always thought of white Zetsu as kind of a neutral character, just along for the ride, not thinking for himself. Would mean he's deliberately tricking Obito. Just a personal thing :P

I think Obito controlled Kakashi into killing Rin without him even knowing it. It happened when he started using his eye powers on the way there

if cloning were to happen, rin would've been cloned

rin was cloned, kakashi noticed she wasn't rin due to some behavior thing and impaled her.... like the time orochimaru pretended to be naruto and sakura and sasuke found out and attacked during the chuunin exams
