this is like the 4th year+ long hiatus the author has been on.

That's one of the reasons I don't read a lot of manga.
I'm too pissed waiting for another ch of berserk/gantz/claymore/nge adding one more to this list and I'd start cutting myself.
Someday I'll probably read the finished ones I've put on my ptr list, but that isn't too soon.

yeah same here. I got a lot of stuff that was rec'd to me that I never read....it's hard for me to start something new though. It's gotta really appeal to me. I get bored pretty easily..
