NA. the 1st season of LE was an entirely different storyline, although dio is the only reoccuring character so far.
i'm not sure if it takes place before/after, canonically, or if it's just an alternate universe + dio, sorta thing.
so, you don't need to see it, but i'd definitely recommend checking it out if you've got the time.
