There's probably bad blood there since Madara likely took Izuna's eyes against his will.

Maybe, but really.. During that flashback in the anime Izuna just sat there while Madara was CLEARLY going to take out his eyes. I don't see how it could've been against his will after it was portrayed that way.

I dunno, maybe. Izuna is rather insignificant in the story. His only purpose in the story was to power up Madara's eyes. I don't know why Kabuto didn't have his DNA to use for the edo tensei. I'm sure he would have looked for it at least.

He might be irrelevant and used just for powering up Madara, but the same thing was said about Obito.

But that was Tobi telling the story, not Madara. Its not a reliable source. Almost all the information we have on Izuna, actually, is pretty unreliable since Tobi SPOKE the words. He could be fairly unimportant or he could still be a vital character

I was hoping that he would still be relevant in the form of Tobi, but looks like that didn't happen.

Is anyone else here glad that we're going to see Tsunade perish? I know that slug was going to pull her body back together, but I doubt she's going to live if she's saving the other kage when her body has been crushed completely in half...

Hmmm. Surviving when her body is crushed completely in half. Sounds vaguely familiar.
