the truth is, the 2/3 of OP was a crap. I barely watched them all. Since whitebeard war, it was uber good. I would give 3/10 to the first 2/3 of OP and 10/10 to now

since you said watch i'm assuming you mean the anime.. Even though I personally like the anime (the HD versions) . If you watch the earlier episodes with standard definition it seems to be done horribly. But on the slim chance you mean manga then I believe you are terribly mistaken. Especially if you read it from beginning to end. And it is wrong to compare a end part of the manga to a beginning part. Because that way you start looking for things that the characters now can do that they couldn't at time. In all they look horribly weak when you reread the beginning chapters and it almost seems boring because you think, "that should have been easy".

i watched anime until whitebeard war and the story seemed to be a little childish to me. Bleach had also bad start (and bad finish). Only naruto kept me excited from beginning

the most excited parts from OP, bleach, naruto:

Ichigo rescuing Rukia > 2 years later in OP > whole naruto shippuden

2 years later in OP is an obvious one =P ... as that just means after time-skip meaning the new chapters.. It seems like One Piece just gets better and better with each new arc. =P.

But if you are talking about anime as it is kinda hard to tell as you only mention anime. there has yet to be a 2 year mark in One Piece in the anime. as the current story line only consists of about 8 months =P

anime and manga are same for me. The story is what it makes the best

OP has been amazing since the arlong arc. If you though OP was childish, then you sir, are the one who's a child. If you can't understand the concepts of drama in the show then you clearly aren't old enough to understand the show period.


The build up to the sand arc alone was amazing....the drama from enies lobby, the adventure @ sky island...etc

Naruto fan calling OP childish? Just blows my mind....naruto is so mind numbingly stupid and full of cliche sometimes that I am surprised I kept reading it.


I ALWAYS look forward to the next chapter of OP. Can't say the same for naruto or bleach, or ANY other manga for that matter.
