I'm currently looking for anime to watch, and I'll post every anime that i've watched so far n wut i liked / disliked about them... and hopefully u guys can recommend me sum stuff.
First off, I would like recommendations that are not too old so that i dont have 2 much trouble finding / downloading them.
Uh I recently dl'd Claymore manga / anime, and I've read 3 volumes of it so far, and I'M COMPLETELY DRAWN TO IT. The cute girl, the silver eye, the sexy sword, everything about it is MWAH - great.
I currently only watch Naruto and Bleach (I think that's kinda standard)
Naruto had some really awesome action ep 1-135 before the fillers started (i think that's when i started reading the manga cuz i got bored) I do really like the sappy parts (as long as its not too much) and the plot of the "underdog" taking on the world as well. I think dis anime has too many flashbacks tho
Bleach I think started to have better action scenes than Naruto really quickly until again they hit the fillers around ep 70. (manga's good, but I think it's being prolonged a bit as well...) Storyline's awesome, but again, more fillers hit...
Mai Hime / Mai Otome - This is by far my FAVORITE series so far. A really great mix of action and plot, and the whole idea of fate vs will power was awesome. The emotions in dis anime are overflowing with sadness, happiness, excitement, dissapointment, power + control, love, etc all together, which makes it really fun to watch. Oh, and ecchi is NEVER bad. ^^ AND TO TOP IT OFF, the anime's not afraid to kill off characters (ever notice sum anime seems a lil overdone with how ppl never die?)DBZ - Hmm...I really liked the shounen aspect of this anime, there was sumthing about it that made me "feel good" about it. I did read sum parts in the manga, n i thouht dat was a bit too quick, whereas the anime was way too long. Definately did not like how every villain lost once, but came bak alive again sumhow n supposedly much stronger but beat in 2 seconds just to show how much the z fighters improved. I stopped watching this 1 around 250 (altho i think dats not saying much bc ppl stopped watching way b4)
Yakitate - Definately a hilarious anime to watch in the beginning...(I dont think i've ever actually laughed so hard watching 1 show) the idea of making an anime off of breadmaking and still making it funny was awesome. I did sumwut get sick of it around ep 40 b/c they would have very similar ending every single time. I did finished the anime...but i also felt kind of left off b/c it seemed kinda obvious the manga went further...
Haruhi - If Mai Hime / Otome wasn't my first, dis would DEFINITELY be it. Cute girls, the plot of the story told in a brilliant way (with the episodes off ofc)
Ah! My goddess! + Love Hina - Imma put these together just because I think i liked / disliked them for the same reason. Storyline's not bad, but nothing really happens Love Hina was a funnier at times, Ah! My Goddess was "mushier" at times, both of which I don't mind / like (if it's not too excessive)
Hunter X Hunter - The beginning of this anime is extremely boring, and the original series ends with a huge shift in the storyline...(it's not even about the main character nemore) The action (including the original series) is awesome ~50-end, ova 1, ova 2 and ova 3. I loved watching the whole aura stuff n watching a kid prevail in an adult world.
Samurai Champloo - Not much to say here...Awesome action, no plot. Too big of a trade-off for me i think (alot of times i'd prefer a mix of both..) watching simply action isnt too bad either though.
Get Backers - Did not like this anime alot...I also dont remember too much of it either
So basically...action, plot, good story, echi, comedy, no fillers....??
Some ppl have recommended me fate / stay night, inukami, one piece (might be too long of a series tho), shakugan no shana, and elfen lied.
