I could see it but seriously that would be about the dumbest thing for Kishimoto to do. I'd actually lose even more respect for him as a writer. There's keeping the suspense of the audience up and then there's Kishimoto's way of dancing around everything for as long as possible leaving multiple questions unanswered.

600: Madara lets everyone know he's actually Izuna and they switched and the only reason the first beat him was because he had no eyes then he got eyes from the store and got rinnegan and Madara was secretly the second hokage the whole time and the 2nd never died he's actually been hiding the whole time inside his base, a secret spot in the 2nd's face on that monument. Excellent point. However, I think Tobi will go down as a result of this war and there will be more beyond it with Sasuke being the antagonist. Several characters in this show have had to face their old friends, teachers, or students due to corruption. Naruto should be no different despite his all-powerful Talk no Jutsu.

I agree that it's highly probable that Tobi was wearing a mask for purposes that go beyond simply his identity.

I agree; I think there's more development to happen between Naruto and Sasuke before they meet for sure. I expect them both to get even more powered up. I don't think it's crazy to say Sasuke is going to get the Rinnegan, especially if he's to become the final antagonist of the series to be defeated by Naruto. Hell, Naruto looks like he's in line to get some Rikudo Sennin-related powerup, too.

I would be really disappointed if they didn't fight. Sasuke has already killed people, including the interim Hokage, whilst also making attempts on the lives of 2 other kage. The rest of Naruto's friends and village have resolved to see him die. Plus, Kishi has purposely designed them to be almost perfect rivals, especially with their chakra and personalities being basically the complete opposite of the other's. They're the living embodiment of the feud that has gone on between their respective clans (well, Naruto's related to the Senju, close enough). Not to mention they've already had it out a couple times. The conflict between them is probably the biggest focal point of the story. I, amongst many others I'm sure, will be very disappointed if those 2 do not have an earth-shattering, mountain-busting, life-changing battle.

Hrm i believe tobi is either a senju or uchiha or some other of the 6 sage descendent due to the sharingan. Either he is a senju in that he can activate and deactivate his eye unlike kakashi who has to keep it hidden or he is a uchiha and always has it active. Unlike the byakugen that it seems once you know the activation sequence or w/e you can use it such as that water dude ao i think. but the sharingan sees to be a genetic trait meaning if its transplanted when the sharingan isnt activated i dont believe any joe blow could activate it.



hrm they really started off to slow to go ahead and give sasuke a rinnegan a timeskip should happen or something cause madara is clearly leagues above anyone same with itachi shisui (who didnt unlock it) only unlocked it upon his death. even with oro/kabuto's research it still seems out of place that this generation is above the last. i dont even think the previous generation kakashi them except gai ofc is above minato those. anywho it is a manga
