it is good but left side looks a little empty.
and also for my tastes not necessarily yours i think instead of the black you should try making that background more of the faded purplish on the top middle.

lest side is supposed to be empty. Also it's kinda based off of purple and black so I think the black bg is needed otherwise that would be way too much purple. Adding purple from the top middle would take away from the lightsource more.

true, also the c4d or possible pentooling doesnt seem to fit well

Hm.. even so if i actually knew hwo to edit things good in photoshop.. or any other art program i might of extended the purple down a lil bit more not necessarily the whole thing purple.
but my advice obviously isnt applicable since my profile has my best work in it. >.>
