And there was an entire chapter called "Obito Uchiha" that showed his past and showed a little bit of what could be a motive. I'll just wait for an explanation. I have a feeling we're in for all flashbacks/talking for 2-3 chapters. I'm cool with it though if we get vital information.

The relationship between Madara and Tobi is unclear at the moment, but I'm betting that they collaborated at least.

what I dont understand is, if Madara was still around when Obito was just a kid, wouldn't Madara be quite old? And when he was resurrected via edo tensei he was the age of when he fought the 1st.

Doesn't Edo Tensei bring you back in the prime of your existence while retaining all of your abilities and physical deformities?

age i have no idea but i would think whatever the dna used meaning if its the dna of a 26year old madara or jairaiya thats who will "come back" but as for if thats true i have no clue

but i do believe it is and i also assume the knowledge you had would only be up to that point

I'm not even sure that it's the age that you get the DNA from them. I read the wiki article and it says it brings them back at the time of their death...that confuses me, too. I thought Hashirama and Madara would have both been a lot older when they died,especially Madara, and both of them looked like they were in their physical primes when resurrected. Meh, I don't know.
