Luffy loses all his power when he is hit w/ sea stone, like he has no more stamina. In this case sea stone works more like haki as there is an undeniable fact that Luffy is still rubber when he is wearing seastone.

yes. you said the exact same thing as i did.. being is Luffy stretched while underwater in the east blue arc against Arlong. That would make him still rubber at all times.

i havent seen this arc in ages, but i thought that it was just his legs that were stretched.
i'd attribute this to the part of his legs not in the ocean being able to stretch.
