I like it a lot (the only anime that I finished) but that's probably because I liked the manga so much.

It's very slice of life, they cut about 99% of the romance out of the anime and some of the character's back stories get cut, some people probably wouldn't like the extreme cuteness of the art style either.

EDIT:It's also a comedy and takes place in an apartment (kind of like Love Hina I guess) , there are no ecchi scenes though (at least none I remember).

The second part goes off on a completely different storyline with new characters and stuff, it's a gender bender I think (never read it, may pick it up later).
