first bold .. Well I'm not sure the hollow took over, it is possible he had to force his hollow to give him more power, a inner battle, like previous ones of sorts that wasn't shown. It clearly said that he wasnt dead, he was conscious, barely, and could hear inoue

second bold .. ichigo's hollow was created inside him, it never went through hollow stages such as gillian, adjuchas or vasto lorde, with that being said it is obviously stronger than a vasto lorde going by the thought that most of the espada were vasto lorde

on the other hand, he WASN'T an arrancar, but there isn't a big difference between them and vizard, its basically just which of the two, either the hollow or shinigami is in permanent control from what I understood so far.

Personally, I don't think we will ever see old man zangetsu again. Ichigo's inner hollow is probably his sword's manifestation when the hollow is in more control than the soul reaper.

And you notice when he's in Bankai his outfit is almost the same as Zangetsu's.

If he turns into psycho-clown hollow Ichigo again, I'll be pretty disappointed, that thing is annoying. I'd rather watch Ulqi get beat down by one-armed Ishida.......

His inner hollow has stated he is Zangetsu he took him over. The old man is no longer around.

Actually, he's got a point, I remember the hollow being absorbed into Zangetsu after Ichigo returned to the real world.

who cares, but its was kinda insane how he called hes sword back and released the reiastsu xD
