Yea, it doesn't necessarily mean that Tobi is Obito, just that Tobi has one of Obito's eyes.

That's what I took from it. The way I see it, Tobi went up and yanked it from him either before he died or while he was still dying, shortly after Kakashi got his.

Um what questions? Im sure the village collects reports from missions and such and you know that little covert ops group anbu not to mention tobi himself seems to know everything about everything especially the leaf

so yeah due to this being a manga and not real life kakashi is definitely not the only one who knows

if tobi did say borrowed power like that -byran- mentioned then that indicates he is either obito or a uchiha at the least but alas ofc its all speculation unless stated in the manga or a databook i guess

2 questions in particular. 1. How did Kakashi awaken his Mangekyo? 2. What happened to Rin? I think it's plausible to say that Kakashi could be the only one who knows the answer to one if not both of those questions. Again, I'd assume that not many people know, but if any others did I'd bet that it would be Gai.

And I'm not even sure that Tobi is an Uchiha. Wouldn't you just use your own eyes if you were an Uchiha? Or maybe he saw the benefit of using one of his own (that was later sacrificed for Izanagi) along with one of Obito's because of the variety of powers or something.

you did read where i said this was a manga right? kishi did a kakashi gaiden why not do an obito gaiden or rin gaiden

itachi or danzo who knew shisui we got some insight from them about him same with danzo and the 2nd or madara and the 1st if all else fails just a random ass flashback from an anbu member more specifically that girl who was at the same monument kakashi was at mourning hayate gekko or whatever that crescent moon jutsu user who fought kabuto and the sand dude baki

kakashi doesnt have to be alive to reveal either of those answers

if tobi used those exact words it would make it seem that he is either a uchiha or obito himself otherwise he would be in the same shoes as kakashi and just insulting himself (ofc its possible)

hell man kabuto or oro too would be able to explain how a non uchiha with just the eye achieved the MS due ot their extensive research

we met the 1st in edo tensei and had no clue he was such a beast cause kishi put it out there that the 3rd was the strongest hokage etc etc ofc its definitely possible for a rock paper scissors thing to be in place and the 1st traits w/e are madaras weakness

tobi may not have been able to achieve ems his body is in shambles man i am just going back to my main point that its a manga not real life

Well, sure there are other ways that we can find out how Kakashi awakened his MS. I think we can all assume that it was the death of a loved one or friend or something. The question is, how specifically? THAT is the thing that possibly only Kakashi can answer. Kakashi is absolutely vital to the story. Right now Gai, Bee and Naruto would probably still be struggling to figure out a way to even land a hit on Tobi if it weren't for him. I didn't see Gai use any space/time jutsu that let Naruto hit him. Kakashi >

I still stand by the fact that the first is the strongest Hokage. Madara has slapped around the 5 current kage at the same time, and there aren't many characters that can boast that feat. Maybe Naruto, Sasuke (when they're both done developing), and Tobi. I think it's also safe to say that Madara would have done it with or without the wood release, too. I don't find it likely that Hashirama specifically holds the key to defeating Madara on his own because he had the wood release or something in particular. I think Madara and Hashirama are just in their own category of power, only to be matched by Sasuke and Naruto.

omg.....its a freaking manga what about that dont you understand we dont need kakashi alive for it to be revealed how he obtained his MS it was during the 2 year time skip which we have no knowledge of so tons of people could have been witness

kakashi is on the floor bleeding from his sharingan and all that happened was tobi's mask was broken FACT you nor me cant prove anything else at this point cause kishi went in suspense mode

minato although he has space time jutsu he defeated tobi within our dimension with "speed" yes the speed came from space time jutsu but who cares it was speed which gai naruto and i assume bee has(he was going to stab minato the same time as minato was going to stab him after the space time jutsu) FACT

now please show me facts to support gai naruto and bee would still be struggling to hit tobi if kakashi wasnt there (FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THIS DONT TRY)

this madara is above the madara the 1st fought so yeah lets get that out of the way seeing as how he is super durable(not immortal since he is subject to death)

Does him bleeding really mean THAT much? I know he himself said he was pretty much done, but doesn't Sasuke bleed every time he uses amaterasu?

my point is that is actually what we know tobi seems to be fine whereas kakashi is on the freaking ground in a life or death fight bleeding from his sharingan and if it so happens he cant strain it anymore he is no better than shikamaru or his dad and should go to HQ and devise strategy : speculation ofc

you also forgot the part about him laying on the ground with what seems to be only enough energy to raise his head and gai screaming cause it seems like kakashi is out of stamina
