no that was Lucci's guess on that his body didn't have enough stamina to keep up with the technique. However this was just him underestimating Luffy. It does however put a lot of stress on his body and wares him out fast but doesn't shorten his life

Well it may just seem just learning it but chapter 597 was a month and a half ago.. lol.. there was a 4 week break after 597 which is when Rayleigh explains all the uses of haki =P

@kasey21 I would like to point out that Luffy is not a Logia devil fruit user. Other than that what you said was correct. Haki doesn't just give the power to bypass Logia users, it gives the ability to bypass all devil fruit users. Luffy is a paramecia type.

I said it was hinted as Luffy was able to get hurt like he wasn't rubber anymore. And although Luffy may be a Paramecia he is actually probably the most rare paramecia there is. He has been the only Paramecia that can not activate/deactivate. He is just always rubber. this is even out does Logias as they have to activate/deactivate as well which is shown when Luffy runs into ace and smoker in Arabasta. If they were always fire and smoke luffy would have just passed through them but since they didn't see anything coming and were off guard they were able to be hit.

No I am saying people were theorizing that since Luffy was able to get hurt by a punch imbued with haki then haki could be able to hurt logias. As it was a theory on OMF that haki was what Luffy will end up using to battle Logias. this was confirmed during the war when Boa hits Smoker. I wasn't calling Luffy a Logia. Besides who are you to tell me what i was thinking? If i say i wasn't then i obviously wasn't.. LOL..
