I don't think it works like that.. You have to have the Uchiha and Senju in you. Idk where you guys got that it's a Uchiha only skill.

So, I read the 2 wiki articles on Izanagi to see what they said. Turns out one of them said that you can use it as long as you have a Sharingan to sacrifice. So I guess I might have missed something in the manga or something like that...or like you said, it was just assumed and never explained. The other one says that to make "full use" of Izanagi, one should have Senju DNA in them. So, you're right, Izanagi is Uchiha (Sharingan) exclusive. I know there's a reason I thought otherwise but I can't remember it. I'll have to think back to what I read...probably just a brain fart but I don't know. Was never really concerned with this technicality in the story. I'm still indifferent.

However, I'm almost positive that you don't need Senju dna. Remember when Itachi was explaining Izanami and why it was created to Sasuke? He mentioned that the Uchiha were abusing and misusing the powers granted by Izanagi at one point, which led to the creation of Izanami to counterbalance it. Wouldn't make much sense that multiple Uchiha in the clan just 'happened' to have Senju dna in them.

I don't remember any of that. I remember tobi explaining that you can only use Izanagi with the power of six paths, which Danzo kinda had.

Well I don't see how the power of the six paths or Senju are required when it was noted that multiple Uchiha abused it in the past. I also don't recall Tobi explaining that. Was that around the time of Danzo's fight?

when he used whatever technique it is to go into whatever dimension his eye was never shown so that technique can be completely different and he only just now used kamui as to why he went MS

you and this logic thing doesnt have a backing(as of yet) either way his eye wasnt shown when using w/e jutsu he used before

nah you need a sharinghan that is all you need to activate izanagi once you know the technique (maybe 3 tamoe too)

just like how the tablet required levels of the sharinghan, the senju dna only "completes" izanagi and makes it whole

in konans fight with tobi he explained danzo's was incomplete that could be because he didnt have a uchiha body even though he had the 1st cells

so yes an incomplete version of izanagi should only require control of a sharingan with maybe 3tomoes and the knowledge on how to use/activate it. same with izanami i assume

pretty sure he states something like FULL use of the jutsu as he definitely says danzo used an incomplete form of izanagi

however if we are talking only about usage then i assume kakashi could use it he shouldnt have senju dna nor uchiha dna outside of the eye. now that i think about it it would give tobi more of a super villain feel if kakashi were to use izanagi and lose kamui

Whatever Tobi did to avoid that tailed beast ball didn't look any different than what he's already done dozens of times to avoid attacks. Looks like he just phased through it like normal. Not sure if it was called Kamui or not, but I'm not sure it matters. He put his body in another dimention to get Rasengan'd in the face by Naruto.

And yes. From the looks of it, a Sharingan is all that's required to use it. I think the consensus is that non-Uchiha who have Sharingans and use it do so in a much weaker form, which is where the Senju dna helps them out so much.



Like I said, that doesn't explain how multiple Uchiha were able to spam this technique.
