I know that VLC deforms subtitles, but when I play it in MPC, the subtitles wont show at all lol...

Zoom worked good.

Ahh, I didn't notice your post. Anyway, there's probably something interfering with the subtitle renderer. However, if it works, I guess it shouldn't be touched.

Probably a CCCP bug. It's rare, but try upgrading to the latest CCCP and see if it does that.

Okay so ive been using Zoom for a while now and there were no issues

But now I just finished watching The girl who lept thru time in 1900xsomething resolution.

I watched the 3/4 using Zoom player, and I thought the art was fine but the usual black line around the characters was kinda jagged

Then I watched the end using Media player classic

The subs were just as good and the lines were all clear now...

Whatever settings you're using on Zoom Player is doing some sort of interpolation. Try resetting your CCCP settings.

Start --> Programs --> CCCP --> Settings --> Check the "Reset all settings" box + Re-register filters box --> Apply

i'm having sorta the same problem it seems...

for the past 2-3 weeks, seems most new releases that i download start "glitching" like that. i tried updating the cccp, and it didn't work. i use wmp, and it's always worked for everything else i played. i tried zoom player as well, and it did the same thing... any ideas?
