lol. she is following orders. she is one of the most loyal ppl the zoldyck family (killuas parents) has. shes ignoring her personal feelings, which are in fact feeling sympathy for killua and a bit of proudness like a mother ( shown were she shed tears, when she saw how killua grew so much.

The entire family was against it including the butlers because they thought there was a backlash to the family. The old maid just favored killua in the long run anyways
