I've been curious since they brought coby back...who will capture/stop luffy at the end? Him or smoker? Both are good candidates, IMO

... I doubt Luffy is going to be captured. it would be stupid if he was.. who wants a repeat of Rogers life? Luffy is suppose to accomplish what Roger couldn't because of his disease. Which is what WB was talking about before he died...

i'd guess coby.
there has to be a point of bringing him back right? showing that he has developed haki.
once luffy has mastered haki, i feel that smoker has lost his edge.
the final marine challenge should be someone who is growing stronger along with luffy, throughout the story.
and that's exactly what coby is doing, while training under luffy's grandpa.

but i think the better question is, what role will dragon play?

luffyh obv eventually gona help his dad over throw the navy and luffy will suggest putting princes levy or wut ever in charge of the world she has good values thats how i see the manga ending getting rid of the corrupt current gov and making a new one

Coby doesn't fit the bill imo. He is too busy at looking up to Luffy as a role model. lol.. Smoker on the other hand actually wants to capture Luffy, however he has his moments where he just can't bring himself to do it. that is why i believe Smoker is more like Garp was Roger.
