Did anyone else notice that there are 4 rings and there have been 4 times that the "Hope" time machine has come to the past?
Trunks comes back in time to warn the Z fighters of the Androids
Trunks comes back in time to give Goku his medicine and fight along side them.
Cell comes to the Past in order to absorb the Androids from the Past.
Trunks comes to the past to escape Black and get help from the Z fighters.
It seems like Trunks can travel back to his own timeline but he can never change the past to alter his own. Instead it only makes a new timeline for the past.

What a great episode. Several moments had me cracking up, haha. The idea of Trunks seeing android 18 was pretty funny. Goku pestering the green Kaio shin was funny. "If you take it easy on him...ill kill you" Beerus is a savage. The fight choreography between goku & the green Kai was actually dope as well.

I think by Goku/Whis/bills traveling to the kiao shin planet, they actually created the black Goku-Kai. The green Kai already has a deep dis-trust for humans, & now he knows there's an uber powerful one out there. At the end of the episode we see the green Kai making the tea for the old geezer Kai & it turning black. I bet the old Kai will see/realise the green Kai's evil intent, they'll battle & the green Kai will kill the older Kai & steal the time ring. Now, how does he go about transforming into black Goku....I don't know but whenever the older Kai shows the case with the time ring, i noticed there were several green rings they didn't mention/explain what they do. Perhaps they grant the user the ability to shapeshift or something. I'm hyped for next week

The real reason why Trunks’s hair is blue is because that’s how Toriyama drew it for the concept art. If you remember back when Dragon Ball Super was first announced and we first got to see a glimpse of all the returning Z fighters, guess what colour Kid Trunks’s hair was at that time

If you watched the current episode 54 trunks even reminisced the time he trained in the hyperbolic time chamber with vegeta in the cell saga.

He seems to never have liked humans, didn't seem to share the same ideals as his mentor. More of god of destruction ideals, but solely focused on extinguishing humans.

They explain that he watched other universes with human civilization, and they always have a never ending cycle of prosper, wars etc. never learning from mistakes. Feels that they need to be extinguished, instead of being protected etc.
He also met goku for the first time, loses to him in a duel, then is asked to pour tea for his master ffs, then sees a human-like civilization doing violent things, then learns about the time ring, travels 1k years in future to see how they're doing.
Zamasu learns that they haven't changed at all, like he expected while the master was hoping they would.

So what i think is that he eventually betrays and kills, or fuses with his master but takes over, and steals the time ring. It also explains that 1 green earring black goku has which shows the kaioshin status. He probably looks for goku in his universe? Instead of killing him, maybe he decides to fuse with him to take his body

It explains exterminating humans of the future trunks world, black goku also managed to travel back in time to briefly fight current goku (was also forshadowed again by the kaioshin master telling him that they are only allowed to travel in future, but not the past as there will be serious consequences.)

Loved the new episode! Everything was perfect from Vegeta training Trunks, to Zamasu and his elder discussing humans and the time rings, to Beerus and Whis explaining the Black Goku theory. And the king of all universes appearing at the end was just the cherry on top.

I have a feeling they are going to have a huge twist with black goku. No one will expect his true identity or reason for being.
