That's a good paradigm. It's very rare to see a vegetarian who posts that he/she is a vegetarian on the internet without attempting to convince others. I, myself, am not affected conscience-wise by eating meat so I eat it.
the reason that i don't try to convince you, is the same that i won't try to convince you to become (for instance) an atheist.
if we would argue about it, i'll defend my views on the subject, as would you.
but convincing you is something only you can do.
