Well, I just devoured all 142 episodes in less than a week. Damn it, now I require more.

Are there any other recommended series that stick out, particularly for someone that loves Hunter X Hunter?

Good episode but I agree, the fight was way too short.

true, however it just displays the big gap between the skills of hiskaoa and a mere zoldyck butler
only good explanation for a long fight would be, that hisoka plays with his victim.

also this isnt too bad, since hisoka keeps getting the image of an unpredictable strong badass, and when he will fight against a other strong guy, it will be pretty exciting

IMO you can't compare HxH with another Anime..

but i'd give katekyo hitman reborn or gintama a try

When the Legendary Seirin Group was displayed in Black & White. Geru was one of them (The snake Zodiac). I swear she's going to become an antagonist. She's a poison hunter. Which family are resistant to poison? Zoldyck vs Geru incoming. The guy at front looks like Issac Netero (cough cough hint). Nobunaga Hazama & Shizuku (Phantom Troupe) were also displayed at the very back.

also reborn and gintama both got cancelled for good reason

if ur talking about the original, sure.
but the remake is a one time watch imo.

i still like yu yu hakusho more though, there are less things that irritate me in that show.
