to use izanagi you need to have MS sharingan yes you will lose an eye IF you dont have another set of eyes already (like sasuke) i assume.
so someone like Madara or Sasuke could use Izanagi with less consequences. they might not even have to lose an eye

Tobi uses the Izanagi and we have not seen him with an MS yet he has only shown 3 tomb shargian

And it has not been shown yet or even touched on if you have EMS and use Izanagi you will lose or keep your eye.

your right, we just ASSUME that his he uses space time warp without MS, but then again rinnegan is the higher form of sharingan, so what does that mean?
i would also like to assume that tobi has HAD EMS, assuming he has those many eyes but you never know, once again.

1. I dont assume he needs an MS for the space time jutsu, out of the 4 people who have used it or currently use it only 1 of them has been shown use MS to activate it i.e kakashi, the 2nd and the 4th hokage both used space time justsu with out using a shargian period , Tobi is currently up in the air seeing he has a shargian and uses space time jutsu, also we notice every time he warps him self to a location it makes a whirl pool on his eye being the center focus of the jutsu, But i dont think it has been shown the eye turns into a MS when doing this

2. I dont understand what the rinnengan has to do with the convo, But yes as to what has been shown the Rin is a higher form of shargian, but its strongly implied at this point you need senju dna to activate it

3. There have been only two people we know have EMS madara and sasuke, We also know to get ems you need a brother with a MS, i would assume that madaras EMS would not work for any one else, if that was the case any uchiha could steal the MS of another user and gain EMS but this isnt the case it has to be a close blood relative , Also EMS does not grant the user any extra powers or makes them stronger, it simply makes it so you dont go blind from using your techs like ameratsu or susanno sasuke with EMS is just like sasuke with MS he just wont go blind

4. Everything is subjective until the author puts it down on paper making it truth, but there have been several times the author has fucked that up, Recall Kakashi in the start of the manga when we met neji saying the Hyuga clan is the oldest and strongest clan in the village? If the senju and Uchiha founded the village how the fuck could the Hyugga be the oldest let alone the strongest .

also i could of swore we were talking about Inzangi not the space time jutsu, the original comment i made was that its implied one does not need an MS to use inzangi , Out of the two people we seen using it, 1. Danzou 2. Tobi , When Danzou used it the shargians on his arm closed and none of those shargian were MS they were normal 3 dot but just to be fair Danzou did have a MS in his skull i.e. Shishuis but it wasent the one closing, so we think the eye that cast inzangi was the one that closed, Now on to tobi, Tobi used a better more improved form on inzangi then Danzou that is because tobi is a better hybrid then danzou was of uchiha and senju dna, Its pretty obvious tobi has white zetsu dna in him, seeing he has several times ozed white shit out of his arm when it was pulled off etc.. Any way tobi has not shown a MS but has used inzangi , Tobi has also said that one must use senju and uchiha dna to cast inzangi but itachi implies that this isnt the case with the last chapter

this manga is full of plot holes the size of the grand canyon but meh i still look forward to its release every week

as you've said before tobi could just be using space time ninjutsu the only inclination that it has to do with uchiha aka sharingan is that it starts at his eye and has a world like the genjutsu MS technique tsuki or w/e

i am not 100% sure but i am somewhat certain you dont actually need the "donor" to be a brother or blood relative but that only raises the compatibility and again not 100% certain but i do believe it powers them up in which way i do not know but again fairly certain they get a power boost OVER 9000!!!! lo(checked the wiki to somewhat confirm will also check actual chapters later for a real source)l

i think chapter 78 kakashi states they are members of the oldest and greatest bloodline and i mean you can interpret that at this point with the uchiha wiped out and no real senju around for this to be fact and hell without a real fight something could easily be pulled out to show why they are superior aka izanami to stop izanagi users lulz or maito gai to specifically fight someone with taijutsu muah! also in this chapter kakashi states that "they say" the sharingan is a descendant of the byakugen so maybe it is older

an actual fail of the author would be how strong the half chakra of the 9tails is and having him be stronger than all the rest of the beast by what seems like miles

Ok chapter 386 somewhat says you gain a new power when you get the ems, this was itachi telling sasuke about madara will look for when tobi talks about it it also states siblings for the EMS but earlier in the same chapter it says clansmen
