In all honesty... what a DICK move it would be to unveal a whole new jutsu, take the time to prepare it, and then NOT SHOW IT.
inb4 Itachi used Tsukinomi to teach sasuke Izanami before he died (taught him it while in the realm of tsukinomi)

yeah i was thinking either that or he already had izanami prepared and used it then and he was intending to use it on sasuke for some unknown effect all along

Such as using Izanami + Izanagi in combination to unlock Sasuke's Rinnegan

The "changes destiny" bit makes me think its going to make sasuke become a good guy again, or it is going to resolve Kabuto's inner struggle and make him stop the war due to finally realizing he just is a little boy who needs a hug

OOOO I'm glad you like that Rinnegan theory! I thought of that the first time I saw Izanami I just had a hunch! I'm not 100% sure about it of course but I think Sasuke will get the rinn and that seems like a logical way for it to happen.

And I'd be upset if the only reason Sasuke became good was because of a jutsu tbh

sasuke becoming good would make this another inuyasha(terrible ending)

hrm izanagi makes you lose your eyesight forever now if forever means until you unlocked rinnegan then high thats cheating so is izanami if it removes that effect

i've noticed everyone with the rinnegan has fought naruto with 7 + bodies where would sasuke get those

kabuto losing the edo tensei sure madara would be gone and the kages wouldnt be occupied but a shit ton of zetsu should stiull be around so is that giant statue and tobi who knows how to use edo tensei to some extent

but yeah rinnegan vs naruto is about to lose for a second time imo so a 3rd wouldnt be any different

also the whole tobi gave negato the eyes is another thing to wonder seeing as how he bypassed the sharighan and obtained them so yeah i dunno this manga needs to be renamed uchiha

Sasuke using rinnegan won't lose to Naruto nor will he win.
Sasuke's gonna say something like "Well i'm Uchiha and Pain wasn't"
or something similar to what he said to Danzo using the sharigan eyes.

if the caster is using it on someone else and is sacrificing their own eyes then no, its not cheating. can imagine it doesnt work if you use em on yourself b/c your new rinnegan wouldnt work. still be blind.

nobody needs 7 bodies to use the rinnegan.

yeah but taking madara off the battlefield takes madara off the battlefield... not to mention all the other crazy ninja jumpin around killing people

i see sasuke turning good if he obtains the rinnegan, so it would have a very different storyline behind it

tobi DID give nagato the eyes. we found out through tobi's thoughts so its a reliable source

its safe to assume the rinn, that nagato was using is the same eye the madara his self awoken, so its safe to assume the rinnigian tobi is currently using the same eye madara awoken, if you recall right when madara was summoned he said something like " that nagato has grown" he simply assumed nagato revived him, he was surprised and a little disgusted that he was revived via edo,



I came to the conclusion that itachi baited kabuto in and once kabuto sliced itachi the gentsu took affect, I think itachi turned off susano and said out loud " im going to use inzaNGI!!" Just to simply bait kabuto in ,

But i do agree with you i think itachi used his eye tech to talk to sasuke and probably answer his questions but i dont think itachi gave him any power

didn't think of that. but yeah a second lasted what seemed like days to kakashi so that would make a lot of sense. might end up seeing that conversation in flashbacks then when he's fighting tobi/naruto
