I've had so many people give this anime a bad review because the first 3-5 episodes are hard to follow and it has lots of ecchi

but really it is better then 99% of the other harem's i've seen only one that i've seen that is better was clannad

did you not watch clannad? haha look up the meaning of harem and rewatch clannad and you will see

never seen to love ru so I can't say if it's better or not Im only comparing it to harem's i've seen

mal does not give it the harem tag and I will agree that the VN was, but as for the anime I don't think so.

if Tomoya has shown interest in any of the other girls it would be, but from the first 2 minutes of episode1 he only had his eye on Nagisa.

even with the last episode of season 1 with the side story with Tomoyo, I do not think it qualifies as a harem because he was never undecided.. it was more a slice of life IMO
