You're right, Tsunade doesnt have to die so a new Hokage can be named, but you still cant have 2 Hokage at the same time so she would need to lose her title.

You will have to find a solid information about having 2 Hokage at the same time because I am pretty sure the 2nd was named after the first died, and the 3rd came back after the 4th died. Unless theres something I forget, theres never been 2 ninja who were called Hokage at the same time. They might have been alive during the same period, but 2 person never hold that title at the same time.

Lets start another pointless "Who is tobi" fight simply because I had it on my mind while I was bored today at work.
I origionally thought it was madara until it was revealed it can't be him
Then I thought it was Izuna... but now I am having second guesses that it is Obito once more.
Reasons for;
A: The obvious that has been stated countless times, Kakashi got his sharingan from Obito, and Tobi has space time jutsu that (at least I assume) is his sharingan's limit
B: He seemed overly excited to see Kakashi the first time they met when Konoha was tracking Sasuke as he killed Itachi.. or more or less his Sharingan, not kakashi
C: He claims that he doesn't fight because his body sustained too many injuries during his fight with the 1st hokage, but since we know that didn't happen, it could of been that he sustained too many injuries because his body was crushed by rocks (hurr durr)
Reasons against;
A: Why would Obito attack Konoha with the 9-tails

Self Ponderings:
He had 2 sharingan as shown when he fought Konan, he used his left eye to cast Izanagi to survive, and then replaced it with the Rinnegan.. I guess he also had like 100 sharingan in a secret lab so that could be why.
How did Kakashi activate his mangenkyo anyways... was it the guilt he felt from "killing" Obito that allowed him to unlock it?

Well your A reason is the only reason I don't rule him out completely. Well actually its more wondering why Kakashi was able to unlock his MS. The jutsu style doesn't mean much IMO, since we already know some Uchiha can use similar/same jutsu.

But I think they made it really obvious that Obito was dead. There was a feeling of complete closure, and as I pointed out before, Obito's goggles, which he was wearing when he died, were on the gravestone, meaning they went back and got them. Obito only has significance in two ways: he gave K his sharingan, and he helped K to realize that comrades come before missions. It wouldn't really make sense if Tobi was Obito. Tobi's connection is to Madara, Sasuke, and Itachi, and probably Naruto in some way or another, NOT Kakashi. The only way I can see Obito being Tobi is if the Zetsu part of him is in control, and Obito isn't a conscious being. Obito would have no reason to attack Konoha.

Also, remember that the Kyuubi attack was very soon after Obito's death. How could he have developed such strong jutsu and potent charka in such a short period of time? Sure, he lost to Minato, but Minato was hard pressed. To hard pressed to have been Obito. Also, I'm not sure why you think he was excited when he first saw Kakashi. He was acting like a fool then still. Remember "Hidden Jutsu: Frill Necked Lizard?"

What made you decide against Izuna?

When kakashi and Tobi locked eyes, you could see tobi "grin" (his facial muscles went in that kinda a type face or whatever)
And as for the power thing, Maybe Obito's sharingan was one of the stronger ones
It was obvious during the fight that he was fused with Zetsu at the time (or thats what I interpret it as..)
Idk just shootin the breeze really. I don't care all that much but I love to fight (debate-wise)

Yeah the Zetsu thing is as clear as day. Whoever it is they are fused with WZ.

People often disregard Izuna because they are convinced he's dead despite all of the connections between the 2 sets of Uchiha brothers and the generational connections. But I'd like to put this thought in your mind: we do NOT have proof that Izuna is dead. Fact. He still could be, IDK right now obviously, but the only source we have for Izuna's death is Tobi and when we hear it, its him telling a story to Sasuke, which means he could be lying. Its not a flashback or a thought (the flashback is merely to accompany the story) and I don't think Tobi is a reliable source. With that in mind, can you really way the things that make it possible for Obito to be Tobi against the heavy connections between the sets of brothers that are created if Tobi is Izuna?

e/ oh crap I just got shown something that proves me wrong. When Madara was resurrected he mentioned and thought about Izuna, all but proving his death. Because of the way it was displayed I believe it. I don't think its Obito though, as it still doesn't make sense

it's not Obito...
Obito was just a little runt who changed Kakashi's perspective of a how a "good" ninja should be
with this perspective he realizes that Naruto resembles a bit of Obito
which then allows him to respect Naruto a little bit more.
THAT IS ALL
he isn't an Uchiha genius and definately not Tobi
Obito's personality is "pure" while Tobi's is "tainted".
