I had a weird time-wasting theory that he himself was the killer trying to fix the timeline after he actually saved her and there were more serious consequences later in life.

Decided to finally start this one last night and caught up already Show is too good. But yeah was obvious it was teacher and I was set on him from like the second ep but at the same time I kept thinking "Maybe they're making him subtly look like the killer so I'm surprised when someone less obvious is the bad guy"
