i'm not sure on how all the eye taking stuff works.
but i think he has to take the eye when it is activated. like how kakashi took obito's eye when it was still activated
since madara died, his eyes turned back to normal because using the sharigan consumes chakara.
therefore he could not take his eyes. I THINK.

U don't need the dead body to bring them back from the dead...
The jutsu works as long as you have their trace of cells..
I seriously doubt orchimaru's or Kabuto had all of their dead bodies..they probably got it by searching for their cells

I also doubt that they physically hold all of the bodies, but his body had some modification to it.
