As I try to honestly think of it.. I desperately try to think of people who were once in the show like in Naruto (before shippuden) and who aren't in the show now.. I don't even think tobi is going to be an uchiha to be honest..
If they really have no idea what they are going to do, they could make it so that madara = some guy, as you said, and naruto blasts his face off and noone will ever know
maybe hes the 1st hokage?
he had the power to create life with his jutsus, and tobi has had his arm torn off twice that we know of (once of his own doing, and the same arm was torn off by the 4th hokage)
