all rasengan is spinning chakra in your hand, in the form of his element, wind.

The rasengan is not a wind jutsu. It's just pure chakra that gets spun in his hand. Naruto had to add the wind element to it to make it rasenshuriken.

Chidori was supposed to be a move that could only be used once, now sasuke spams it for episodes on end..
iirc rasengan was supposed to be pretty draining as well, yet naruto can evenly distribute his chakra to 100 clones, and have each one use a rasengan
the show doesnt follow its own rules.

the only thing we might not know is if he can use itachi's genjutsu, completely worthless
sorry, he could also be fighting naruto, be getting his ass handed to him hardcore, and evolve from EMS to rinnegan magically like he did as a child (from 2 to 3 spots on his sharingan)
