how the hell can you say its not hypnosis? fansubbers say it is, official copies say it is, the dubbed version of bleach uses the word hypnosis. Nothing is lost in translation, its hypnosis. HE CLEARLY SAYS IT CONTROLS ALL 5 SENSES. Its not just bending light rays.

link to the official dub where he says its hypnosis. Nothings lost in translation its not fansubber speculation. Its almost an exact quote of whats said in the manga translated by the fansubber (what would the fansubber term be for manga? translator?)

Me's Soul Slayer, kyoukasuigetsu, as for the ability, it is perfect hypnosis.

Proper Translation:
My soul slayer, kyoukasuigetsu, has an ability called "Complete Hypnosis". (which is what the subs say, 100% accurate good job...uh...looks like DB subs maybe)

Kanji: 催眠
Kana: さいみん (This is saimin, anyone who's studied japanese for a few weeks will tell you same)
Part of speech: Noun
Meaning: hypnotism

The sentence broken down:
boku no = my
Zanpakutou = soul slayer (or just zanpakutou)
nusumu noryoku = ability/skill
wa = grammar particle that marks subject
kanzen = perfect/complete
saimin = hypnosis
da = is

There will be no more debates on aizen's zanpakutou's ability being hypnosis or not anymore.
