finished ant arc and almost caught up today

goddamn, the animated end of the ant arc was so fucking full of feels

I nearly shed a tear

seeing it all in one sitting (aka no huge hiatus in between) really changed my opinion of the arc.

what restriction/covenant did Gon put on himself that could hurt someone if they tried to dispel it? Killua mentioned it in the last episode.

It's not mentioned specifically but one can assume that Gon just snapped and stopped caring what would happen to him after (he used his own life or at least a big part of his lifeforce), as long as he got to kill Pitou. As such, if anyone would try to revert the damage they'd get killed or at least repelled as they would have to compensate with their own life/lifeforce. That's my interpretation.

yea that's what i thought too. so it's basically like what Kurapika did to hunt members of the Phantom Troupe i guess. but on a much larger scale.

I don't understand how strong kurapika will be in this new world against non Phantom Troupe enemies. He's not going to be able to use like half his abilities right?
