Going to see RoF on Saturday. I talked two people into seeing it with me so far. I'm really hoping it has a decent limited release, it'd be amazing if Anime caught on in the states a bit more.

It hit $1.6m from Tuesday alone. It's doing really well for a limited release that only has one show time per day.

It didn't even have a showing yesterday here in ABQ. 7pm showings for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and an 11am for Saturday. There's one more showing for next Tuesday and that's it. I think BoG made like 9mil, I'm hoping RoF hits like 15m.

I had the wrong number. It was 1.97m Tuesday and 1.5m Wernesday. It should finish the 8 day run pretty close to 20.

Because it's not new content. They're trying to rewrite stories they just wrote for the movies and fill in the space between. It's like if DBZ started off by trying to retell the King Picollo and Picollo Jr sagas from DB.

Unlike the first two series, the manga is being based off the anime instead of the other way around. It's going to get a lot better, it just needs time to get off the ground.
