I wonder if anyone can predict the other 7 tailed beast names, considering they are apparently all tied in to mythology lol. I couldn't, but I'm curious now what they are XD

alrighty, i studied alittle bit about the chinese myths for school once and here's what i retained.
the monkey king aka Sun Wukong (his real name)
was a student of Taoist and gained immense power.
with the power he started causing trouble like stealing and eating immortality pills and immortality peaches from Emperors all over china
because of this trouble cause by the Sun Wukong, he was imprisoned by a chinese Goddess
she trapped him in a mountain for thousands of years until some other gods said "hey lets give him a chance or something"
so one day they give him a quest to guard this dude from one destination to another without causing anytrouble
this quest was super important because this one dude had to get something involving Buddha
anyways, he does this and is rewarded freedom and was praised for his duty
BASICALLY why the monkey king or Sun Wukong is so damn popular is because he's the most entertaining god or deity out there
he's fucking strong as hell, fast, smart, immortal, and last but not least very very tricky (i think in other cultures the Fox is known to be the trickster or the cunning one, but in the chinese culture it's the monkey king)
