I started reading mangas again (I never was into animes, but i bought a fair share of comic books in the past), and am now looking for some rather seinen and dark series that are worth reading. Stuff like:

Blade Of The Immortal
Battle Angel Alita
Berserk
20th Century Boys
Beck (well thats not really "dark", but a great manga)
Homunculus
Vagabond / REAL

Interesting, I've read/watched all of those except for Tona-Gura which I purposely avoided because of the shitty ending I heard was there, but I found Unbalance x Unbalance/Freezing/Black God/Onihime Vs to be the best of that list.

Either way if you like Kimi no Iru Machi, I would recommend Suzuka to you Bogie, and considering the genres you like, I would also recommend: Love Hina, Moe Kare!!, Koukou Debut, Haru yo Koi, Junai Tokkou Taichou, NANA, Rec, and possibly AIKI
