u really should know what hypnotism means. Dictionary definition doesn't have much say here considering words can have different meanings depending on how you use them.

It pretty much means heightened state of suggestibility. Even if aizen's sword isn't hypnotism (it is) thats the most accurate description of it. ur eyes can fool ur brain, but if i see a dragon as a fly, my eyes aren't gonna make my hands stop when i touch the dragon. If i draw a 3d image on a piece of paper, no matter how much my eyes believe theres an object sitting on the paper, my hands wont feel an object other than the paper when i touch the place where the the object should be.

EDIT: Cyba, since you are so knowledgeable, what day is bleach episodes released? I haven't been downloading them for a while. I just got all cought up.

and there's no other connotation... japanese to english doesn't translate word for word, for those of us who don't need a japanese anime to tell us what the incorrect definition of hypnosis is, we know it's definition and can critically analyze it and use it in proper terms, unlike you who is what some call "strict interpreters" of incorrect connotations.

Your adhering to only dictionary definition. If its not hypnosis, please give us a better explanation. I explained above why its not bending light rays.

wtf are you talking about a dragon as a fly? aizen bends light rays to make people see what he wants them to... by the properties of light and bending it a certain way of it's electromagnetic spectrum, you can create illusions.... have you not taken physics yet?

you can't make light solid. How can you effect somebodys sense of touch with light? You have yet to answer this question.

yes, because by changing the electromagnetic spectrum through the bending of light rays a certain way, you can intensify some properties and adjust others. which is already answered in post 1396 that you apparently didn't read/comprehend.
