I don't think so, as he is in the possession of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror, which make him invinicble as Zetsu himself stated.
However, Kishimoto will find a way to get rid of Itachi as he is too powerfull to remain in the story.

i think what trounce was referring to was the edo tensei keeping itaci alive

with the edo tensei he cant die, he just comes back to life unless sealed or canceled

snice he was revived in his prime (maybe) he wont have illnesses and stuff

I don't think anyone have revealed how to break the Jutsu, maybe Kabuto and to be honest if he can do it in the first place he would of done it the moment Itachi broke the seal.
