the point of the tournament was to show that there were no limits on how strong you could become, they even hinted at yomi/mukuro not being the strongest to exist in that vast, vast world


/e not only that, enki was JUST as strong as yomi and mukuro and raizen at one point before he got married, the same goes for kokou

Strength is much less important in HxH's system. Its nice to have a good reserve of aura but battles seem to be determined by strategy and the nature of powers.

dam the first half of the episode felt like a waste.. but the feels were too strong in the first half :cry:

Narrator? Are you sure you're not referring to when Pitou says something like "I don't know how he did it, but he must have forced his body to mature to a point where he is able to defeat me."?

well you're half right

pitou didnt say it with any insecurity she thought it as a fact "he forcibly aged his body..."
then killua came in and went thought the same things "it should have taken 20 years to achieve this body..." etc etc

but its written in such a way that it's just obviously fact read chapters 306-308 of the manga and you cant possibly deny it as speculation

Doesn't matter b/c Gon using that power fucks up his body. Gon cannot continue using this power in combat if he hopes to live more than a couple years.
