Elder son of the sage is my first choice only because he possessed rinnegan and could have possibly given it to nagato (prob only possible person with rinnegan unless there was someone else)

Im thinking madara is the son of the elder son of the sage. it says how madara was born with unusually powerful chakra or something of those lines.

(Elder son of the sage inherited "the sage's powerful chakra as well as his eyes")

Madara must have probably been strong enough to make the elder son fear him or soemthing (if elder son is actually is tobi, this would explain the surprise when kabuto showed last coffin)


Izuna is my second choice. madara and him were rivals and brothers. Him seeing madara in the coffin would strike fear to him since he is shocked that kabuto got his brother.

no offense but that response makes no sense. the impure resurrection brings back the souls of people who should have been laid to rest. it alters the way things are supposed to function and is a very dark concept. its hard to believe anyone who is considered a "good guy" would think it was a good idea to create such a technique.... let alone use it. the rasengan is simply an offensive jutsu.

in short, edo tensei is immoral. why would the 2nd knowingly create and use it anyway.

I already pointed this out but not thouroughly.
He was the creator, he labelled it kinjutsu (forbiden) but he used it enough to be recognized as a dangerous jutsu by the other kages.
No actual mention of when or who he used it against but the other kage was afraid of Konoha, even the silver and gold brothers wants him dead because of it.

I can't remember where I read about the Silver and Gold brothers but source of the Impure World Resurrection.

it just says they beat up the 2nd hokage in their coup against 2nd raikage

Yeah I can't remember where I got te info.
The Raikage and The Hokage wants to make an alliance.
The brothers didn't like it that's why they started a coup.
Unless it was someones speculation that I am remembering.
