orochimaru was already dead... all itachi did was seal the left over chakra from that cursed seal and get rid of the little traces left behind


If in the future Sasuke uses the curse and lost control, Oro can take over and pretty much controls Sasuke.
Itachi knew about it, that's why he force Sasuke to use the curse to the point he cannot control it so that Oro can come out and Itachi can seal him.

I'm pretty sure the whole reason they can't bring Hidan back is because he's still alive.

oh so the sasuke/itachi fight wasnt a troll

I agree. But if Danzo was able to cast Genjutsu at Sasuke, he couldn't of done the same for Tobi, who was standing far but not close enough for Danzo to put him under a Genjutsu.

Also, this is not anime. It's a manga.
